Camarillo philanthropist George Kroll remembered for his work and support

George Kroll, a philanthropist and member of community boards, including those of St. John's Regional Medical Center, St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital, the Meadowlark League, Friends of the Camarillo Library and Padre Serra Catholic Church, has died. He was 95. Read more: - vcstar.com
Meadowlarks provide comfort for rain residents

At their December meeting at Saticoy Country Club, Meadowlark Service League (MSL) supported RAIN Transitional Living Center by providing coverlets, quilts and bedspreads as well as toys for the kids. Isaac Romero, Children’s Coordinator at RAIN, thanked Meadowlarks for their generosity and said the bedding would be used to provide a warm and cozy room to individuals that are joining RAIN particularly in the cold wintry months to come. The toys will be given to the children for Christmas and as “welcome gifts” throughout the year. Read more: - vcstar.com
