MSL held its Annual Spring Luncheon  June 5, 2008 at Spanish Hills Country Club. Over $255,000 was awarded to local charities and organizations, not to mention scholarships to 23 local graduating high school seniors and continung college students.  MSL has now given over $2,095,000 to worthy organizations since its inception in 1971. This year's recipient's include Adolfo Camarillo HS PTSA - After Prom Party, Alzheimer's Assn., American Red Cross of Ventura County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo, Brain Injury Center, Camarillo Art Center, Camarillo Arts Council, Camarillo Family YMCA, Camarillo Hospice, Camarillo Ranch Foundation, Cancer Center of Ventura County, Catholic Charities of Ventura Co. - OASIS, Food Share, Friends of the Camarillo Library, Girls Scouts of California's Central Coast, Kids to Kids - Restoration House & Serenity House, Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties, Many Motors, Mary Health of the Sick Convalescent & Nursing Hospital, National Alliance on Mental Illness, New West Symphony, Ombudsman Program - Long Term Care Service of Ventura County, Pleasant Valley Historical Society, Project Understanding, RAIN Communities, Rio Mesa HS PFO - After Prom Party, SOKM -Save Our Kids' Music, Special Olympics Ventura County, St. John's Healthcare Foundation, Support for the Kids, Ventura County Rescue Mission and Ventura County Search and Rescue.
